Bath

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bath invites you to explore its unique mix of stunning architecture and rich heritage. It is a city steeped in history and has the only hot spring in Britain. The city has over 5,000 listed buildings mostly from its Georgian heyday in the 18th century.

Bath has long been a popular wellness destination with visitors from Roman times to the Georgian era flocking to the city to take the mineral-rich spa waters. The city’s wonderful spas are still a draw, but there are plenty of different ways to relax and unwind. You can visit the Roman Baths or relax at the new Thermae Bath Spa where  you can enjoy the natural thermal waters just as the Romans did over 2,000 years ago. The new spa offers spectacular views over the city and surrounding countryside from the roof-top pool.

Bath Today

The city is far more than museums and old buildings. It has a lively cultural scene with several festivals and all kinds of shows, concerts and exhibitions filling up the events calendar. There are plenty of restaurants and bars for lunch and dinner. The Recreation Ground, in the city centre, is the home of Bath Rugby.
