Welcoming campers and day visitors alike the Top of the Gorge festival is a carnival of outdoor adventure, entertainment, inspiration and fantastic local food and drink. The festival gives you the opportunity to build a weekend of adventure.
The Mendip Hills are famous for trails, crags and caves and Cheddar Gorge is one of England’s most iconic and spectacular landscapes. At the festival you can explore the gorge on a running or cycling challenge, a guided adventure, or completely at your own pace.
Enjoy outdoor activities or relax with live music and local food. Take part in trail running or have a go at climbing and caving in the crags of Cheddar Gorge.
Cheddar Gorge is one of England’s most iconic and spectacular landscapes. At almost 400 feet deep and three miles long it is England’s largest gorge and with its weathered crags and pinnacles it is a spectacular natural sight.If you can’t make the festival weekend then lots of activities are available in the area all year round and the Cart House Holiday Cottage is only two miles away.
