The Cottage is a charming stone-built cottage and is located in Axbridge in Somerset. The historic town of Axbridge is a fabulous location for exploring the South West. Cart House holiday cottage is a grade 2 listed building that has been comprehensively and sympathetically restored in 2017 by the current owner to provide high quality, self-catering, holiday accommodation. The modern three storey stone cottage, sleeps up to two people and is beautifully furnished, boasting stunning, exposed wooden beams and an open, refreshing living area. The cottage make for a wonderfully relaxing bases to return to at the end of each adventure-filled day.
Benefiting from off road parking and being surrounded by picturesque, undulating countryside, sit back and simply admire your wondrous rural location. Nearby, the coastal towns of Burnham on Sea, Weston super Mare and Clevedon are ideal for spending a holiday by the sea, with everything that you will need including a glorious, sandy beach and a piers which can be admired from one of the onlooking restaurants. The idyllic Somerset Coast is nearby and is perfect for you avid walkers and cyclists, with the South West Coast Path also running alongside, this is an outdoor lover’s heaven. The Holiday cottage was built in 1778 as accommodation for a cart, two horses and a groom upstairs. During World War One it was used to store coal and later as a carpenter’s shop and store.
